I've already got it, but what a magnificent first album. I remember when it was first released and I walked past a record store in Perth and the opening of "Good Times Bad Times" came blasting out onto the street, and stopped me in my tracks. I saw Zep live in 1972, stunning, absolutely stunning.
Hi Bob! My first Zeppelin album was "Houses of the Holy," and I remember buying it because my parents had given me a Walkman and I'd heard that Led Zeppelin was a great band. Up until that point (age 11), I'd only listened to rock, blues, and punk rock bands from my home country (Argentina). So it was a pleasant surprise and a gateway to another world. Thanks for sharing your memories!
